Servings: 2
Ingredients:
Ice
6 oz. vodka
4 oz. lychee juice or syrup
1 oz. vermouth
3 oz. St. Germain
2-3 lychee fruit for garnish
Optional: Li Hing Mui powder rim
Fill a cocktail shaker with some ice. If you are doing a rim, dip edges of glass into lime or lemon juice and then dredge edges of glass in the Li Hing Mui powder. Combine all ingredients and shake vigorously until very cold. Pour into martini or cocktail glass of your choice. Garnish with your favorite cocktail sticks and 2-3 lychee fruits. Enjoy on a hot summer afternoon, or whenever the mood strikes you.
Notes:
Canned lychees are easily found at your local grocery store or online (Amazon). The juice you need for the martini is in the can, and the easiest route you can take for making these drinks. You can buy fresh lychee and make your own lychee juice as well. Also note: Vermouth is a dry wine! Once you open it, you must refrigerate it. Don’t leave it lurking on your bar - it will go bad.
