Shrimp Scampi
who doesn’t love shrimps?

Servings: 4
Ingredients:
2 lbs. uncooked shrimp; peeled, cleaned and deveined
3 cloves garlic; minced
1/2 cup citrusy white wine (sauvignon blanc or pinot grigio)
1/2 lemon
1/4 stick salted butter
Garlic powder
1 tsp. fresh parsley, chopped fine
Olive oil
Salt & pepper to taste
Coat a large skillet with olive oil and brown garlic on low heat. Add shrimp and cook on low until pink and no longer translucent. Add wine and juice from lemon and simmer. Add a dash of garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste, and parsley. Stir all ingredients together with shrimp. Add butter until completely melted.
Notes:
This simple shrimp recipe can be used over pasta, on a salad, or on it’s own as a main course with a side of veggies.
